The controller responsible for processing personal data through this online shop is:

Muse Trading Limited
Flat C, 19/F Wai Fat Building
5 Fung Cheung Road
Yuen Long, New Territories
Hong Kong
Email: support@swaravo.com
Contact page: https://swaravo.com/pages/contact

Swaravo is the brand under which we operate the online shop. Please send questions about privacy and requests to exercise your rights to support@swaravo.com.

2. Data We Process

When you visit the shop, technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, time of access, and cookie and consent information may be processed.

When you place an order, we process in particular your name, contact and delivery details, order and product data, payment status, and the information required to process and deliver the order. Data required for a selected payment method is processed at checkout by the payment service providers involved.

When you contact us, we process your contact details, your message, and the order information required to handle your request. If you sign up for marketing emails, we process the data provided for this purpose, as well as information about your subscription and, where applicable, your withdrawal of consent.

3. Purposes and Legal Bases

We process data to provide and protect the shop, process orders and payments, deliver goods, respond to enquiries, and comply with legal obligations. Where the DSGVO applies, depending on the purpose, this processing is based in particular on Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO (contract and pre-contractual measures), lit. c (legal obligation), or lit. f (legitimate interest in a secure and functional shop and in handling enquiries).

For cookies or similar technologies that require consent, and for analytics and advertising purposes based on them, we obtain your consent where required (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO and the applicable rules on access to end devices). You can withdraw consent with effect for the future through the privacy settings available on the website.

4. Shopify, Payment Processing and Other Recipients

We use Shopify to provide the shop and checkout. To fulfil an order, required data may be transferred to payment service providers involved in the checkout, shipping and logistics companies, and technical service providers. A payment service provider may process data under its own responsibility for its own statutory or contractual duties; please refer to the information for the payment method selected.

5. Cookies, Analytics and Advertising

Technically necessary technologies are used, for example, for the shopping cart, checkout, and shop security. The shop also includes Shopify features for analytics and marketing, as well as Google technologies for measurement and advertising. Depending on their function and your selection in the privacy settings, such technologies may process information about your use of the shop, device identifiers, and interactions with pages or orders. Analytics can help us understand how the shop is used; advertising and performance measurement can help us assess advertisements and their effectiveness.

Where consent is required for non-essential technologies, they may only be used in accordance with your valid selection. You can change your selection through the website’s privacy settings or withdraw consent for the future. The technologies that are actually active must correspond to the current shop, app, and cookie settings; we will update this policy if the services used change.

6. Marketing Emails

If you subscribe to marketing emails, we use your email address in accordance with the applicable legal basis. You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in such a message or by emailing support@swaravo.com. This is distinct from order-related messages required to fulfil the contract.

7. Transfers to Other Countries

Muse Trading Limited is based in Hong Kong. Shopify and other service providers used for the shop may also process data in other countries. Where additional safeguards are required for a transfer from the European Economic Area, we comply with the applicable data protection rules. You can request information about a specific transfer at support@swaravo.com.

8. Retention Period

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose. Order and payment records may be retained for longer in accordance with applicable statutory retention obligations. Data from enquiries is deleted when it is no longer required to handle them and no retention obligation prevents deletion. Marketing consent and its withdrawal may be documented for evidentiary purposes.

9. Your Rights and Deletion Requests

Where the DSGVO applies and subject to the statutory requirements, you have, in particular, rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. You may also lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.

To request deletion or exercise another data protection right, email support@swaravo.com and describe your request. If the request relates to an order, you may provide the email address used for the order or the order number to help us identify it. We will review your request, may carry out an appropriate identity check to protect your data, and will inform you of the outcome within the applicable time limits. We cannot immediately delete data that we must continue to retain due to legal obligations; where applicable, we will explain the reason.

10. Changes

We update this policy when our data processing or legal requirements change. The current version is available on this page.
